Name: Pacer Workshop - "Housing & Services: Putting the Pieces Together"
Description:Parents will learn how a variety of housing models, services, and supports can be creatively tailored to their young adults with disabilities.

Housing professionals, young adults, and their families will share their stories on:
•How person-centered thinking helped define their independent-living decisions
•Which financial resources addressed their support needs and chosen housing option
•How they creatively combined services and supports in licensed and unlicensed settings.

Speakers include representatives from Hennepin Housing & Homeless Initiatives, Hennepin County Aging and Disability Services, and Cooperating Community Programs as well as a young adult and parent panel.

PACER Center is a parent center for families of children and young adults with any disability. PACER provides individual assistance, workshops, publications, and other resources to help families make decisions about education and other services for their child or young adult with disabilities.
