"A special place where every child is special"
Nature inspires creativity; it encourages the full use of the senses where a child can find freedom, fantasy and peace. Camp Knutson believes in the importance of community and creation in the lives of all children.
Throughout the summer, Camp Knutson partners with organizations that provide summer camp experiences for children with disabilities and/or special needs. Campers are enrolled through summer camp organizations.
Located on 30 acres of beautiful, wooded land, Camp Knutson's newly-renovated facilities are handicap-accessible for all. The camp, located on a peninsula, is surrounded by beautiful lakeshore. A popular spot with campers is the beach where swimming, boating and other safe water activities are enjoyed daily.
